epirater
I only have around 2gb left on my Mac's internal drive so I’ve had to resort to using an external drive as the destination of my downloads. I’ve changed the settings in uTorrent and made sure that the destination is on the external hard drive. When I add a torrent it will automatically place it on the external hard drive and it downloads and uploads correctly. But when it restarts or returns from sleep, uTorrent says: Error: Can’t open... or Error: Invalid download state... But the external hard drive is still connected the same. I’m not too sure if I need to change some more settings or something, would anyone be able to help please? Thanks
epirater
Well some folks at MacRumors have suggested changing power settings so it just doesn't go to sleep, but I would really like to be able to have it keep working if it gets restarted, so I can upload torrents from the external drive in the longer term. Does anyone here know if that's possible please?
