Error: Can't open .torrent file

Hi,

 

When i add a new torrent, it doesn't show up anywhere, not even in the Hidden tag.

After i close and re-open utorrent, sometimes the file shows up in the hidden tag, but it's not consistent.

The files in the Hidden tag, are shown with an error: "Can't open .torrent file".

The torrents that don't show up anywhere: if i try to add them again, i get a message: "The torrent you are trying to add is already in the list of torrets".

But i can't find it anywhere.

 

I have tried it with different torrent files, and none of them open and work.

Yesterday everything worked correctly.

 

What can i do to fix it?

 

I am using the latest version 3.4.2 build 32549.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing.

Installed BitTorrent 7.9.2 instead.

Bye bye utorrent.

Take a real close look...Bittorrent client is same as utorrent, Just a different name!

Bittorrent Inc. is owner of both.

I assumed this since they look the same, same settings, etc.

 

I need a working torrent client, so i don't really care.

Currently BitTorrent works, and uTorrent doesn't.

It's probably because Bittorrent client is a build or 2 behind utorrent client and has not the bugs in the most recent stable releases in utorrent....Its almost like downgrading using Bittorrent. If it works for you then congrats but if you downgrade utorrent it will respond the same and should work for you.
