Ads on "free" plan

Hi:

I have been a user of the "free plan" for about a year and, obviously am satisfied with it BUT the software managed to corrupt and I tried to replace it because it had no ads attached to it. In reading I have noticed the new plan has generated quite a few complaints about its intrusive ads. The premium plan says it has "no" ads but "no" means different things to different folks! Is someone willing to give me an opinion as to whether it is worth signing up for the premium plan to avoid the ads in the free plan?

Thanks for any help.  tincillim
