I have about 500 torents now and I'm going to reach the cap of 1000 in the next months, I have Tb's of files sharing 24/7 at 1.2mb/s to a lot of peoples. My secondary PC is a standard Desktop PC with windows 7 and not a NAS. My question are:-What is the required PC configuration to run something like that?-I'm also looking to buy new HDD, like a WD RED 4TB but I'm not sure if he's going to be able to handle utorrent with more than 500 torrents in it and if he's not going to overload and crash all the time?
