Torrent User Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 Hi, i don't know whether there are similar threads posted before this, and i can't find one on google. Please help. i've just reformatted my PC and installed Kaspersky anti-virus (i didn't use anti-virus before this.) And, one of the the few things i noticed is, my torrent traffic speed has decrese tremendously, from 2Mbps (before format) to only 50kbps (after installing kaspersky), it doesn't have this problem before installing kaspersky. So, i am wondering why and need help solving it. Thx P.S. i know it sounds like i should post this thread on kaspersky website, which i did, i'll like opinions and suggestion from both sites. Thx very much.
Torrent User Posted September 21, 2014 Author Report Posted September 21, 2014 Please, why nobody bother commenting?? my torrent is still struggling between 50kbps to 55kbps.. need help..

Try to stop scanning Utorrent in Kaspersky add Utorrent in the allow list....Have you checked the Kaspersky forums for similar problems?
Torrent User Posted September 21, 2014 Author Report Posted September 21, 2014 yeah, i've read an article and already add utorrent in allow list, and have checked kaspersky forums. They also suggest the same method as you. But, the speed doesn't go more than 55..
Beasly Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Check to see if Kaspersky changed some network setting and re check port is forwarded... Have you tried Utorrent with Kaspersky completely disabled? Did you add "Do not scan network traffic" to the exclusions list? Adding exclusions from Anti-Virus scan
Torrent User Posted September 24, 2014 Author Report Posted September 24, 2014 Hi, Beasly, i've made the changes like you said, but the speed doesn't increase also. But after i refreshed my PC (i'm using win 8), and installed both utorrent and kaspersky and same setting changes, the speed is normal now. I don't know where went wrong but its fine now.And thx for the info, and sorry for trouble i caused.
