Liasis mackloti savuensis
i just updated to the µTorrent Mac Beta 1.8.6 build 34354 today. When I selected a music file to download, to my surprise, a Textedit file downloaded onto my desktop. It was labeled "tci-inquiry-media-injunction3-2009_email-to-media" and had a legalease "INJUNCTION ORDER..." written at the top. At first I thought I was being searved a letter from the MPAA or RIAA and was going to have a very bad day. As it turns out, it is from a law firm in Turks & Caicos and is dated 2009 and has nothing to do with the internet and µTorrent. I traced it to µTorrent's add feed. I've never seen this company before and I did not put it there. After about 10 minutes, it disappeared from the feed URL box in µTorrent. Pretty weird and a little unsettling. Anyone have any ideas of why this happened? I ran my antivirus program and double checked my firewall and router. Everything seems fine. If anyone's interested, here's the letter. ---------- Forwarded message ----------From: Conrad Griffiths <conrad@misickstanbrook.tc>Date: Mon, Jul 20, 2009 at 5:37 PMSubject: RE: RE: INJUNCTION ORDER RELATING TO THE REDACTED PARTS OF THECOMMISSION OF INQUIRY REPORTTo: turksandcaicossun@express.tc, tcnews@tciway.tc, gemmahandy75@yahoo.com,rebecca-bird@hotmail.com, faizool_deo@yahoo.com, samantha_snd@yahoo.com,info@tcifreepress.com, rtcdirector@tciway.tc, kenny@power925fm.com,akerr@tcinewmedianetwork.tc, sdaniel@tcinewmedianetwork.tc,tdean@tcinewmedianetwork.tc, channel4@wiv.tc, ange123789@yahoo.com,editors@tcijounral.com, tcijournal@gmail.com, editor@caribbeannetnews.com,shaun_malcolm@yahoo.com, viviantyson@yahoo.com, deandreahamilton@yahoo.comCc: Monique Allan <ma@saunders.tc>, guychapman@savory-co.com July 20th, 2009*1.
