stihia Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 I took a closer look at this http://www.softpedia.com/screenshots//uTorrent_1.png and I found the image a little bit confusing (especially for the newbies):- in the category list it shows All (1), so everyone should be convinced about the existence of just one single torrent in the list... in the meantime, on torrent details the download speed is 0 BUT on the status bar the download speed is 74,9 kB/s, AND the upload speed is 0 kB/s, while the torrent icon shows seeding... I think is hard for a newbie to figure that the screenshot was took immediately after the download completion...- another bad thing regarding this image is that the number of peers in the swarm is 1, therefore 0 peers connected, yellow light on the status bar, and a total of 0 bytes uploaded, while the average DL speed was 184,5 kB/s (suggesting a leecher client?)...Just for "marketing" purposes and overall image of this amazing client I would suggest to the mods/forum admin to upload another µTorrent screenshot with plenty of all ) (torrents, seeders, leechers, good speeds, etc.)... maybe like this one? http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/3843/utforum8xx.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

People who are new don't even know what a leecher client is, and people who aren't new know µTorrent isn't a leecher client =PIn any case, your screenshot wouldn't be usable, and something like it... well, I personally wouldn't want a screenshot having a bunch of blotted-out stuff, so something more like the current screenshot would be better (of course, with your suggested changes).
