kamaradski Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Since today I cannot reach the web interface of my 3.3 alpha anymore. SSL connection errorERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERRORUnable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you don't have. I have this problem in both Chrome and IE. Does this have anything to do with the recent "security workaround" published for OpenSSL recently ?Update:I just tried to change the content of servercert.dat with a valid SSL certificate&key (RSA4k sha256 TLS1.1) in the hope the default certificate was just outdated or unsupported. but this did not solve the problem. Also i am not sure this is something one can just do like that...? so i have reverted this for now. Update-2:Issue solved, one of the computer in my VPN started using the same port so the SSL error was caused by that service and not by uTorrent Nice to have my trusted uTorrent working again, i was getting worried !
