DogToggler
While it does not appear immediately, the green status-bar icon appears a few moments after starting utorrent, and the online port-forward test is successful. This is accomplished by checking off the enable upnp and nat-pmp port forwarding options. I have a linksys wrt54g2 router. My torrents do not seem to be seeding as much as they should, and my speeds are not as great as a friend down the street on the same ISP. My question is, if the tests are working properly, is there any reason why I should look into manually forwarding ports?
Switeck
You might want to use just UPnP not NAT-PMP as well...UPnP is slightly more unreliable than manual forwarding and can "break" under heavy loads.Your uTorrent settings may differ from your friend's...and also Charter screws with torrent upload traffic.
