For the record, this intel-only beta actually works on my ibook g4 w/ 10.5.5. However, it rarely connects to more than 1 peer and downloads pretty slowly. On the current torrent, I am DLing at an average of 4.5 kb/s, 1 of 12 peers, but the same torrent immediately jumps into the hundreds of kb/s in transmission and connects to 22 peers.

Yes, it works, but (according to the Mac devs) it's buggy under PPC, which is why it's listed as Intel only.

PPC support will improve as time goes by, but for the moment we're releasing it as if it were Intel only. The PPC support is left in as an unsupported feature for the brave.

Are your ports forwarded / uTorrent allowed in the firewall (or little snitch)?
