I'm a little different from everyone in that, I'm a former windows xp user. Ever since the Vista upgrade path, which I don't really agree with, I've decided to take the plunge and give linux another shot. I'm currently very happy with my Ubuntu desktop. When I looked for bittorrent clients for linux, I tried all the better ones. Some were too simplistic (Transmission), and even the ones that had most of the features I wanted still didn't feel polished enough. By chance, I remembered uTorrent, the only bt client I used to use on windows, and came looking to the site for maybe a linux port. To my surprise, right in the title, it says that it works with wine (a windows abstraction layer for linux). I had purchased cxoffice to help my transition. I downloaded utorrent, and to my delight, it works very nicely with wine, and integrates perfectly into my Gnome desktop. Thanks to the uTorrent Team for the great program.
