  1. Yes, I also like the old UPnP logging better. I guess UPnP dectection was "hidden" because of all noobs getting confused about the NAT-PMP and UPnP error when it's not needed/available.

    My suggestion:

    Set NAT-PMP disabled as default. (Those who need it probably knows what it is)

    Set UPnP as enabled as default and keep the old logging.

  2. Aargh.. why put it on Release candidate? Just release the god damn thing. Haven't beta testing been bugtesting enough? I doubt that so many more users download the RC than the betas.

    The real rush will come when you relase the final for the autoupdater whatsoever.

    Ok.. I take it back, sorry. I guess Im a bit impatient :)

  3. How auto-update is supposed to work? I have it enabled but it doesn't seem to do much...

    Of course theres has to be a new version to update. And of course you make sure that you are not blocked by a firewall or NAT (I guess).

    It worked fine for me when updating to b1875.

  4. @Richard Choi I agree with issue 1: An option for that would be nice. Also could you consider making utorrent remember the last selected Listview item (category list) ? As it is now utorrent forgets it and defaults to the "All" view at start-up. More.

  5. tony6274: Sorry but if you paid anything for µtorrent you have been scammed. µtorrent is 100% freeware. It's sad to read that this continues to happen. Those scammers should be shot.

    By the way: On which webbpage did you purchase on?

  6. NiteShdw: I see you suddenly woke up... how come?

    I suggest these categories:

    * User interface / GUI

    * Network

    * Advanced options/features

    * Lightweight features/tweaks

    * Implemented features

    Also consider removig: "Unlikely to be implemented" since there is new developers.

    Also you can update the "Implemented" status for features that have been added.

    Also remove all feature request that has been trashed and locked since you cant discuss them anymore.

    Also fix so you can't direct link to vote yes/no.

  7. @thomaswong and hin123

    Can you please read the thread a couple of pages back before posting? That issue is already reported and fixed.

    @Yat

    @laimanl

    @cyRq

    Thanks for reporting these - the incorrect peers list display of uTorrent versions 1.5.1-1.6.1beta and on non-english/japanese locales should be fixed for the next beta release.

  8. Ryan - t's a Buffalo Airstation, a clone the WRT54g (and not stripped down like the v5/v6 revs). Under DD-WRT/Tomato, it should be identical.

    I agree it's not the router. 1.7 beta 1355 does map uPnP on XP.

    Where is the uPnP log you want to see? All I get is "Unable to map UPnP port" in the logging tab. Nothing in the router logs.

    Aaargh! I just rolled back to 1.6.1 and uPnP works. It was NOT working before...

    You arent very clear are you?

    1. "1.7 beta 1355 does map uPnP on XP". = now it works

    2. "All I get is "Unable to map UPnP port" = now it doesnt

    3. "just rolled back to 1.6.1 and uPnP works. It was NOT working before." = ???
