I think we touch the limits of .conf and internal IP resolving of uT. Many IP dont have reverse DNS and even if the domain with the right flag is present, the IP resolving doesnt work. :/
In addition they are some pbms with satellite and virtual ISP (MVNO).
Or Chinese IP on backbone of Chinese Telecom are not resolved.
So it's a great improvement but there are some limits to IP resolving.

Ok thanx for your answer. Satellite ISP is really a pbm, like city Wifi or Wimax.

It resolves here... Are you sure your DNS is working? Are you sure your setup in Preferences for resolution is FALSE (true uses internal flag cache.. MUCH more limited than this flags.conf/bmp package)
No, all is good (prefs, modem, etc..)
But by example:
1/ this IP from Brazil is not resolved:
http://private.dnsstuff.com/tools/ipall.ch?domain=189.30.213.130
Why ? not TLD ?
2/ http://private.dnsstuff.com/tools/ipall.ch?domain=83.229.103.131
sky-vision.net is a satellite ISP and the IP is from Ghana.
But how choose the country ? Ghana or headquarters ?

Ok thx for this answer, I understand now but why this IP "cablevision.net.mx" (TLD domain) was not resolved even if there is .mx ???
-
And how find the .net or .com version of a domain in .mx eg?
Some domains will be never released or something like that ?

Yep I saw that before my post but the pbm is not solved, then I'm sry, thx anyway.
I need to know if IP resolver in uTorrent software needs to have out/incoming connections with Internet to work fine ?
Because after an update of my ADSL modem (Livebox), IP resolving is disabled even if you select it !!! Very weird.

hello.
I get a problem with IP resolving, that doesn't work. No ips are resolved when I select the option in peer column of uT.
maybe I can try add the .conf, but where may I add it ? which folder ?
OS: Vista.
thx in advance
