  1. I see this project is now abandoned. Is there an alternative? I'm moving from Linux/Transmission back to Windows world and I can't find a viable client to access remotely without using browser and log in to ridiculous websites.
  2. Is there an update coming soon? This http 404 error is really annoying.
  3. I'm getting 12/0.5 Mb/s dl/ul from my ISP, so it's close to the overhead ratio of 20:1 that you've mentioned earlier. That's what I meant, not that it's my ISP fault. The seeder client was listed as libtorrent 0.11.9, so it seems that + small pieces are the culprit in that case. I never suspected that overhead can reach such values. Thanks for the info.
  4. @DreadWingKnight: net.calc_overhead = true @Switeck: So I am really that unfortunate to have 20:1 dl/ul speed from ISP, and this is the overhead? If that's the case I can't really seed before downloading the complete torrent first, is it?
  5. @KnifeyWifey: Maybe just to be sure it still maintained But the more interesting question for me is, who am I uploading to at this rate?
  6. utorrent regularly disobeys upload limits - per torrent and global net.calc_overhead = true bt.transp_disposition = 0
  7. rafi, so you believe it affects only download speed?
  8. uTP is new, that's nice. but again, what it is?
  9. You should've read it, not post.
  10. uT's crashing frequently upon system overload. Usually goes 100% CPU and after a minute is crashing. Sometimes there is a dump, some times there's not. uT's in background. Happens at least once a day. The crashes started a couple of 1.8.1 builds back. Unfortunately I've ignored them so far. http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=504fd215c2617f98d2db6fb9a8902bda
