For a full fleged firmware package I suggest DDWRT-mini or -micro if you are sure you don't need the dtripped features (Use Generic if flashing through web gui, or specific if tftp'ing firmware upgrade).. Its more streamlined than hyperwrt, based on v4.20.8, you get about a floppy disk worth of flash space (on the 4MB/16MB models, 5+MB on the GS) that acts like a disk to install things not in any firmwares gui, and if none of that matters to you, its probably got the easiest web gui to manage the rc_startup (startup script) where you enter the lines in the µtorrent faq regarding Linksys (although it also has a timeout setting in the web gui.. Another alternative for the hardcore is Open-wrt, but if you're just hearing about that in this thread then its probably not a good idea to jump into that..
