robur Posted July 4, 2006 Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 Hi,my connection allows a 90 kb/s upload.During the day I set torrent to use 50 Kb/s upload.At night, I set it to use full upload bandwidth. Is it wise ? Switeck Posted July 5, 2006 Report Share Posted July 5, 2006 If you're using Scheduler, chances are everything's fine....Better to set upload speed to something your computer can handle, than no limits at all. 80% rule is to allow some leftover upload bandwidth for downloading and web surfing, but some connections slow WAY down if pushed faster than that.
