Ultima
Uh, did you check portforward.com like µtorrent-Guest told you to?
shahdee000
Yes, but it didnt help me one bit.But I checked on utorrent.cz that the main problem may be in my IP - that it is private and I have to call my ISP provider for a public IP . And then I shoul put my IP address to url bar and so on and on and....check the Help page to see for yourself. And as for now, Ive wanted to check portforward.com but the page doesnt want to download. Ultima
What do you mean by "the page doesnt want to download?"You have to find your router model, go to the uTorrent configuration page for that router model, and follow the instructions. The only reason you'd have to call your ISP is if you absolutely cannot configure it (password protected, or whatever).
kurahashi
Hmm, Ultima, it is still possible that he has a static address from private pull and is behind the NAT - because that is how his ISP provides the internet. In that case contacting with ISP seems to be the only way. Ultima
No, they speak of static IP addresses as in internal LAN IP addresses, not external WAN IP addresses. You'll find the guide on portforward.com
