router not connection to peers

me router worked fine untill the new windows update that happened this week or week b4. I cant even connect to anyone by i used to max at about 700kps but now i dont even get 1kbps. D-link DI-524 any ideas now how to make it run like its old self?

when windows does an update, sometimes it resets the half-open tcp limit to 10

http://www.lvllord.de/ download and set the half-open tcp limit to 100 over 100 is not advisable, though I know some people do set them higher

you might want to check to make sure that your router has not somehow reset itself and that your port forwarding setups are still there

Also, D-Link routers are terrible for µTorrent's features of UPnP and DHT.

These need to be disabled in µTorrent. UPnP also needs to be disabled on the router.
