andrewandrew
i generally have alright speeds, but feel i could get faster. when downloading small files its not an issue, but when trying to get something 5gb its tiresome.on the torrents.com wbesite, when you chose a torrent it has a 'statistics' section where there is a link called 'hash' - alot of letters and numbers. when you click on this, a page comes up with a whole list of what i think are ?trackers? and it says You may copy this list to your client to improve on the speeds.how do i take advantage of this information?thank you in advance for any help/assistance. Ultima
What color is the network status light in the µTorrent status bar? And including more trackers isn't necessarily going to improve the speeds.
andrewandrew
thanks. the light is green so no problems there. if the number of trackers doesnt necessarily improve speeds then fair enough. just thought i might be missing out on some trick. cheers anyway. Switeck
Your speed settings are probably skewed in some way that cause your long term download speeds to be lower than they would be otherwise.Post what you're using (as seen in Speed Guide CTRL+G), and we can give you ideas to improve it a little.
