disk problem. How to save the torent.

HI.

I Have huge torrent @90% bad sector appeared in some place, and utorrent says to recheck, when i force recheck - it says that file cannot be read (don't remember exact msg).

I cannot copy this file to another location it says (cannot copy).

I tried to check disk utility in windows, encludion bad sector scanning - still doesn't help.

I understand that small part of the file might be damaged, but I would like to save at least something and then recheck later in utorrent.

How can I copy at least part of a file (it is single file)?

Try copying it to another hard drive and pointing µTorrent to that, so µTorrent can finish downloading it.

When you get the Cannot Copy message, are you trying to copy it while Utorrent is running? If so, that may be your problem. Try closing Utorrent and then copying.
