I'm guessing you mean KNOWING wouldn't have an effect on it, because it would be stupid to say the language used wouldn't have an effect. It's good to know what language a client is written in before using it for one thing. Even though in this case it would be most likely C++ without being told, since Java is so slow.There's no harm in including it in the FAQ, because some people would like to know. You going to tell me that if this program was written in C, C++ or Delphi that it would matter even if the functionality was the same between them?Look if you want to turn this into a flamewar go ahead, in what language the program is implimented doesn't really change its function so I don't see how knowledge of this would be necessary.
