redphoenix3
Hello everyone!I've used utorrent a few times before (i'm not such a big torrent fan),and it alays worked well. However, today,i had winamp and utorrent running.Winamp froze a few seconds, and then resumed working.I thought it was maybe winamp's fault. But while browsing, firefox also froze a few seconds,as well as wordpad.I stopped utorrent, and everything went back to normal without freezing.Turns out hat my computer freeze every few minutes while running utorrent. But this has never happened to me before? Why is this happening? And what i can do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance for your time. Switeck
µTorrent's probably briefly exceeding Win XP SP2's half-open connection limit. You may have patched that in the past, but Microsoft's updates have a nasty way of fixing that without telling anyone. Ultima
Does your mouse stop moving too? If so, make sure your IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc) are in DMA mode.
