Username314
I've heard that the Windows firewall hates P2P and tends to slow down transfers. So should I switch to others? I'm looking for lightweightedness and efficiency - if these traits are possible with today's firewalls.
Lord Alderaan
Use a hardware router. NAT itself functions a semi-'firewall' blocking unwanted connections from the Internet. Trojans, Viruses, spyware and other software that generate unwanted connections to the Internet aren't stopped of course. But a good virus scanner and a decent Internet browser should prevent those. Ultima
I've never heard of any issues between Windows Firewall and P2P.
