Guest
Uhm, sorry if asked before, but is the download speed limited if the I limit the upload speed? Some bit-torrent clients has this restriction, others don't.Thanks!
bane
You wouldn't want to go below 10 otherwise you'd choke out your connection. "breath in, breath out" Keep that flow going brother..
segosa
uTorrent allows you to limit the upload to 1 KB/s and I don't think it puts any restriction on the download speed in that case, but if your downloads are slow it's because that's how bittorrent works, only the people who share get the best download speeds. Guest
No, not really, you know... I have a strange ADSL configuration (750k down, 96k up), so I have to set the upload to 5 max, or I can forget about my internet for the time I download. With TorrentStorm I have the global maximum upload set at 5, and I get (very seldom) 75+ download rates, so, no BT doesn't really care about up/down speed sync. It's the clients that restrict. So my question stands, does uTorrent have any restrictions regarding up/down speed limits?
vurlix
There are no hard coded restrictions.
