SkullKid999 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 i have utorrent for a while now and i got a lot of stuff from it, but......at very slow speed. believe i have tried everything from the guides and forums and i really dont know wat's keeping me down. i tried forwarding ports because i connect through a router. ZyXEL p-330is my router model. and i have set up a static ip and all that. i have windows xp home edition, windows xp firewall, avast! antivirus, verizone dsl, speed is: 186kB/s download and 47kB/s. i have pentium 4 duo cpu running at 2.8 GHz each, with 1GB RAM. i set adjusted my upload speed and that improved speeds a little, but the network indicator is still red no matter wat i do. µtorrent-Guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Share Posted November 14, 2006 if the network indicator is RED then you have NOT forwarded your port correctly or some software is still blocking the port!Read the setup guide regarding reasonable settings for your uploadspeed and check portforward.com regarding the port thingy.
