Seeding even not 100%

I think it works the way you expect now. If you start a torrent that is 99% complete, it will seed what it has available to all interested peers. It´s just the way the protocol works, there is no need to do anything else. Unless I´m missing something from that BitComet feature.

how can you do that?

what uTorrent does now is:

1. you open the torrent file

2. uTorrent does a check

3. if not 100%, it starts downloading

ie. it'll always try to get to 100%

what i was saying is, if you're 50%, and you don't want to download anything, just uploading, there's an option to do that in BitComet

Ok, I get it now.

Try this, select the files you don't want to change, right-click and select "don't download". I'm guessing it's going to continue uploading (seeding) and not download.

If it doesn't work, hey, your request was made. I don't see a point in it, but it's not for me to judge.

eg. if you downloaded a file from tracker A, you want to keep seeding in tracker A, and at the meantime, you want to seed in trackers B and C, but the torrents from trackers B & C say 99%

how can you seed in uTorrent? i don't think you can

stop downloading a file? well, yes it will work sometimes, what if the torrent is just one big file? (eg. 4GB .ISO)
