i have this problem i have a spedtouch modem 585v6i i have done speedtest portforwarding create a static ip etc i have only the firewall of windows and kaspersky antivirus in my pc i run the speedtest //256 adjustments half max open 4 ,peer lazy true net low cpu true , i test the port 38435 works fine but when i begin to downlaod i am not getting a green triangle althouch i download the file i get it after a while then it turns again yellow and again green etc i there any explenetion for these problems?

alternating?can you be more specific if you meant that not geting a stable green triangle is not a problem then ok and one other guestion beicause i feel a little confused the upnp fuction in utorent must be not checked in my router configaration also must be off?

Yes, I meant alternating between yellow and green. UPnP is useless since you forwarded your port manually.

changing between green and yellow (= alternating) is no problem. yellow only means no incomming connection at that time. if it was green a few minutes before then you are oviously connectable.

If you are smart enough to portforward by hand you don't need UPnP (it's just automated portforwarding for n00bs) so having it in a router active without using it could be considered a security risk exploitable by malware

so just to be clear i must have the upnp fuction in utorrent program unchecked and the upnp fuction in my modem-router on correct?

yes, uncheck it in µT if you portforward manually

and No, do not activate UPnP support in your router if you have no problem with other aplications that needs a port forwarded.
