CBBluesman
Hi,I have a Comtrend CT-300 Modem on Aliant High Speed ADSL.As it is connected directly to the Internet, do I need to forward any Port!I can't find the Modem on Port Forwarding,it's not in their list. The Port number I'm using is now yellow and not turning green.I've tried every set of instructions I can find on Google for improving Speed Problems but I keep getting the NAT error.I can download but it's very slow. Thanks Sorry for mixing questions together but they are closely related I think. µtorrent-Guest
http://www.portforward.com/networking/static-xp.htmDo the first few steps, and see what your IP is, if it is a LAN IP and not the global reachable IP then you have a NAT acting device in your modem. Check the manual or phone the customer support of the modem vendor how to forward ports in that device
