twisted_ed Posted January 7, 2007 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 I am running utorrent on a DD-wrt flashed WRT54G linksys router. I have port forwarding all set up and working (green ball) and decent dload speeds (around 30-50kbps cause of shaws throttleing as I can guess) when connected by wire to my router. As soon as I disconnect the router I lose the green ball and I cannot figure out why unless it wont work over Wireless, even weirder is that fact that if I download somthing connected by wire then turn on the wireless and disconnect the cable and go to wireless only I get the yellow triagle no incomming connections error symbol but the downloads seem to continue at their same speeds untill I close the ;program and reopen it on wireless.Is there some setting I need to setup on my wireless card? Switeck Posted January 7, 2007 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 When running µTorrent on a wireless link, you need far more conservative settings than wired.What's your half-open connection max in µTorrent?What settings are you using as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?
