kkool84 Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 HI^^firewall is open, no nat problem, test of port is good.availability is 1.972, 168 peers and 27 seeds, but i can only connect to 4 peers, can i establish more connection to seeds and peers?options->perferences->bittorrent->maximum number of connected peers per torrent = 140in the peer list, the 4 peers i'm currently connect to are within my country. Switeck Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 It may be that your ISP blocks many/most/all outside ips using BitTorrent traffic or throttles them to the point where they spontaneously disconnect. You might try lowering your max connections per torrent to 30 and even reducing half open connection attempts as low as 4.Is DHT and Peer Exchange enabled? Switeck Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 Try a brute-force encryption:Turn on forced encryption, disable legacy connections.Disable DHT, but leave Peer Exchange enabled.If that doesn't get you connections outside your country, then your ISP can best be described as a LAN which allows lite internet surfing only.
