brunces Posted January 24, 2007 Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 Hi, guys.Please, help me understand and fix this...I used to use another torrent software and, with it, my download rate was always stable: 37 KB/s.Now, I'm trying uTorrent and I've noticed that my download rate is very unstable. It keeps oscillating from 34 to 37 KB/s, every second. Why does it happen? How do I fix it and stabilize it at 37 KB/s?I always set my rates to:Download = Unlimited (it reaches 37 KB/s)Upload = 15 KB/sI'm using Windows XP Pro, no proxy and no firewall softwares.I hope you can help me. kurahashi Posted January 25, 2007 Report Share Posted January 25, 2007 I would really dispute if your download is unstable at all. In fact I say oscilation beetween 3kB/s is quite normal. The 'another torrent software' you used most probably did not update your download speed every 1 second like utorrent does, thus making it seems more stabilized.
