I have always used utorrent and have always had good speeds... Im now struggling to keep a 1 kb/s speed.Any help is appreciatedThanks
Switeck
You'll have to port forward BOTH routers, or place the computer µTorrent is on behind only 1 router from your cable modem.
denisestone
I have opened ports on both routers...It is not possible for me to only be behind one...'Tis my dilema...
Ultima
Any reason you need to use both routers?
denisestone
Yes they are in two different houses. My mother has the internet coming into her house and into her Belkin Router. I can not pick up the signal in my apartment so I have it into a wireless router into my house and wired into my desktop.
Ultima
Then you're going to have to configure the Belkin to forward the correct port to your D-Link, and then from your D-Link to your computer.
Switeck
And the Belkin router will pitch a fit if it has more than 60 total connections at any given time.So that means you need to disable DHT and not port forward UDP packets....as well as use very conservative values in µTorrent.
