knego Posted March 21, 2007 Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 I have a rather crappy computer running latest utorrent, and the speeds are as good as they could be.Its a P3 450 Mhz, 192 MB memory and and a 15 GB disk. I know it´s pretty low, but is there any recommended settings do get the most out of it? The speeds often goes up and down, and disk overloaded 100%-problems does show sometimes.Any ideas? Switeck Posted March 22, 2007 Report Share Posted March 22, 2007 You will probably need to play with the advanced DISK CACHE settings so ram is used to prevent delays caused by the slow hard drive. Can you make sure µTorrent has at least 32 MB of RAM free to run its disk cache in?There's also a 'net.low_cpu' setting in advanced that might help.Disabling DHT and Resolve IPs probably wouldn't hurt either.
