wrbk319
Whenever I download a torrent, I receive a message saying "the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." I've searched all over google and read the FAQs page, and I found nothing to solve this problem. If anyone who has encountered this exact problem and conquered it, I would appreciate the help. Thank you in advance.
Switeck
That sounds like a hardware failure.Where/what are you trying to save to?Too long paths and filenames will probably cause weird errors too, so you may need to save the .torrent file in a simple folder with few letters...and even rename the torrent file to a single letter with .torrent extension. wrbk319
I'm saving to my desktop. The filenames are pretty simple and what not. This only started happening when I re-arranged my computer, because I moved to another apartment, but I don't think that has to do with anything. stathis
Try saving to a different location than the desktop. It might have something to do with permissions/security.
wrbk319
I've tried so many things and it still doesn't work. I even reformatted and the same problem occurs. =(You think it's the new ISP I've been using?
