Switeck Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Well firstly, you're definitely trying to run too many torrents at once. That's even excessive for a dual 100 megabits/sec fiber optic line. So, how fast is your connection both up and down? (I mean by SPEED tests rather than whatever speed your ISP claims you have!)Your ISP may have throttled your line because they see so many connections being made that they assume it's either viruses or denial of service attack being launched from your computer. (They may even be legally required to defend against such actions.)
dejv Posted April 10, 2007 Author Report Posted April 10, 2007 they claim that its 4/245 but its approx 3mbit/256download speed doesnt increase more than 100kB/sec
Switeck Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 The Speed Guide (CTRL+G) setting that closest matches your upload bandwidth is xx/256k. You can tweak it some, but don't expect double the values in there to cause more than slowdowns.
