oRth Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 If I'm already running one instance of utorrent and doubleclick on a torrent file (which is associated to utorrent) it starts a new instace of the client instead of adding it to the old one.
Ultima Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 I think it might have been designed that way (judging from what others have said). I personally don't care, since I usually drag and drop my torrents into µTorrent anyway =PEdit: Odd, I tried double-clicking a torrent while µTorrent was open, and only the first window popped up asking me where to save the file...
Animorc Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 This happens to me also, but only when the µTorrent window is committing a trackerannounce. It seems that the UI halts during that time if no connection can be made with the tracker. (At least with the wellknown TPB tracker)Edit: And it can be rather troublesome since µTorrent tries to resume all active torrents in the new instance, resulting in a "File not accessible" message.
