Gmiey Posted May 2, 2007 Report Share Posted May 2, 2007 I'm really new in utorrent. i dont know how to set my utorrent preferences, especially at parts Connection,BitTorrent, and Queueing. my internet connection is Wireless ( 11.0 Mbps). i am using windows xp sp2, amd turion 64 mobile technology processor, 768MB DDR2 of RAM.Could anybody tell me how to set the utorrent preferences for the best download and upload? please.... i really appreciate your coorperation. Switeck Posted May 2, 2007 Report Share Posted May 2, 2007 Use Speed Guide (CTRL+G) and choose the upload setting that closest matches your upload BANDWIDTH in kilobits/sec or megabits/sec.If you really have a symmetric 11 megabits/sec wireless internet connection, then you could choose xx/10mbit.Chances are, your upload bandwidth is much lower than that...so you need to watch your upload speeds and then find the Speed Guide setting that sets upload speed closest to that.
