george0083 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Share Posted May 7, 2007 Hi!I have 2 mbit connection with level one modem/router and i'm using utorrent 1.6 with open port(green light)!The problem is that when i open utorrent i'm downloading normally with 180-200kb/s but after 5min download speed is getting 20-30kb/s!what is the problem?How can i set global maximum number of connections/maximum number of connected peers per torrent/number of upload slots per torrent?I ask that because when i play with that numbers sometimes download speed grows and upload too!When use speed guide nothing changes!Thanks a lot Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 Did you incorrectly use the xx/2mbit UPLOAD setting in Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?CTRL+P (preferences) is used to change individual settings (such as global maximum number of connections) manually. LOTS of connections at once tend to overload low-end internet lines, so don't be surprised if speed gains are minimal and short-lived.
