JLow Posted May 11, 2007 Report Share Posted May 11, 2007 Using Netgear WPN824v2. Have set up static IP address and using a port between 55000 and 58000. Upload speed is 690 on ADSL+2. When I test to see if the port is open in utorrent, it comes back telling me it's closed. Using PC-cillin with XP Firewall off. Can any one help? I have set one port, 57222 (zero paid tutorial recommends using one between 49152 - 65535) Have followed "Port Forward" and "Zero Paid" using my ISP DNS server address, my PC's IP adress etc. µTorrent Port Checker still says "Error! Port 57222 does not appear to be open" My Firewall is off and PC-cillin doesn't seem to block it. I don't want to try by-passing the router, but am hoping for a solution. There must be a way?
