ktl532 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 Previously, my utorrent had average download speed at 30KB/s ~ 50KB/s, but recently(this 5 days) I have experience's average download around 10KB/s ~ 15Kb/s.Please do not ask me for the port forwarding, enable encryption and connection type, I have surely do all of that. MY ISP is Streamyx from Malaysia, 2Mb/s package.For your information, I using utorrent version 1.6.1 and - Speed Guide Settings: UL limit: 186KB/s UL slots: 8 Connections per torrent: 100 Connections global: 750 Max active torrents: 9 Max active downloads: 8Thank you. Switeck Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 It seems you got wrong the first thing in Speed Guide.Your connection may be 2 megabits/sec...but that's only your DOWNLOAD bandwidth!Your upload bandwidth is likely much lower...and you probably never reach an upload speed over 50 KiloBYTES/sec, despite telling µTorrent to upload at 186 KiloBYTES/sec.Your ISP may have seen you were trying to flood your connection and throttled you even more than they would have otherwise.Internet Interruption or Slow Speeds?
