angel8192
My router recently had to be reset to the factory settings and now I cannot get my port to forward properly meaning that i can't get incoming connections on uTorrent. I have a Speedtouch 585 and have done everything that I can remember to forward the port and it still won't open. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
AllGamer
do you know if you were using DMZ or uPnP to deal with the ports?

Switeck
If you want to use DHT, BOTH.If you don't use DHT (and have it disabled), you can forward just TCP.
nikp
Hi there! I have a Speedtouch 585 v6 router and I've followed all the relevant instructions of www.portfofrward.com to forward a port for utorrent (1.7.2). Unfortunately, things got worse and now utorrent doesn't connect to anyone (0 seeders, 0 peers, all trackers offline) and yet the network icon is GREEN! When I test the port, utorrent tells me that it's forwarded ok. This is happening with a range of torrents (different trackers) and two computers connected to the same router. Please! Any suggestions?
