dan1el
When I download stuff, I get tons of tons of Hash Check Fails in the log. There is also many many IPs being banned. Viewing the Peer-list, i also see many many peers with 0.2% completion. Their IPs are similar and they are also similar to those who keep getting banned. whats going on? Nackas
find another torrent of the same file or program and download that as by the sounds of it the torrent you are downloading is sending a lot of bad data
Switeck
A 'tight' grouping of ips is probably a hostile server farm.Best to ban the whole lot with ipfilter.dat in µTorrent.
user1651
Is there a way to automatically ban hosts after sigle hash fail?Usually the hash fail ratio is about 0.01% but yesterday one specific torrent from from 2 different swarms had 30% fail ratio. 5618
Change bt.ban_threshold in Preferences > Advanced to 1, then it will ban on the second hashfail.
