Kumori
I unforgenaty do not have a router to port through, I use a cell phone modem through usb to connect to the net at about 27 kb/s (I know it's slower than dial-up ok?) is there some sort of special way to connect utorent for a connection like this, or am I s.o.l.?please help me out
Ultima
Whatever method of connection you use is outside the scope of µTorrent -- it doesn't care what connection you use, as long as it allows you to connect to trackers and peers. I highly discourage using BitTorrent with those speeds, though. You're not going to get much of anything done on BitTorrent, and it might end up overloading your connection with even the smallest of values for settings. If you *really* must, try selecting Dial-up (28.8k) in the Speed Guide. Firon
You almost certainly can't forward ports on something like this.
