slow d/l speeds lately

hey can anyone help me out.i use utorrent to download torrents and iv been using it for about a year and its always been reliable giving me fast speeds but for the last week or so i cant get anything past 9 or 10 kb/s.any advice on what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated
