How to upload properly

I've been trying to upload a torrent properly then seed it.

Just to know if it works.

I uploaded it on piratebay.

Then opened it on utorrent.

The % is supposed to rise quickly I understand after you set the download location.

But it didn't rise at all, every time I tried (all ten thousand times) with different torrents and different tracker sites.

I did seem to attract some peers.

But the damn % won't rise by even 1, and I'm confused.

Anybody know what I could be doing wrong?

(and Yes, before you mention it, I know, I'm a sad and obvious noob)

You probably pointed it to the wrong location of the data.

That's what I'm seeing Firon.

And I pointed to the same folder which I used to make the torrent.

I'm guessing I've done something wrong somewhere down the line to picking a trackers.

Any suggestions as to what I could try to pin point my mistake?

when you right-click the torrent and select force re-check, the "Done" column should jump up to 100 percent and you begin seeding. If its not, you have most likely chosen the wrong folder.

I can't believe all it took was a force re-check, I had no idea what that even was.

Anyhow it worked, thanks for putting up with this amateur.
