Tchang
Today my friend who torrents just received a letter for his internet provider telling him he violated a copyright law. The letter stated what he downloaded via bittorrent and could possibly be sued. He was not using uTorrent but instead Azureus. I'm a bit worried i'll be caught! I have a static IP set if that makes a difference and use uTorrent. Can I be tracked easily by my provider? My friend uses Comcast and I do as well. Firon
Makes no difference. The only way to ensure you don't get letters is to not download copyrighted content.
