HeeZy01
when i double click a torrent that is downloading, it brings up its properties with the trackers its using. is there a way to disable certain trackers instead of deleting them from the properties window?i have this torrent with alot of seeds and peers as well as multiple trackers. the speed isn't that great so maybe if i disable all but one tracker i can reduce the total amount of seeds/peers and maybe get a little speed boost. funchords
Change the tracker URL of the tracker you want to disable...http://whatevertracker.com/announce tohXXp://whatevertracker.com/announce
HeeZy01
yeah, i figured that out. but maybe in a future version of utorrent, there should be an option to disable trackers with a checkbox or something.
drbits
Actually, you can put the tracker you want to use first and then immediately follow with the trackers you want to ignore (no blank line). This makes the "ignored" tracker an alternate in case the first one is off-line, rather than disabling it. However, it won't give you warning messages the way hXXP would.
