Apprentice
I try to take a peek at videos as soon as it's possible. Many times, I decide it's not worth the full DL, but I would like to seed whatever I've DL'd.Is there a way I can stop downloading and start uploading? (limiting the DL speed to a very low value doesn't works - UL speed is limited also in this case).
Lord Alderaan
R-click, properties, limit the download speed to 1kb/sIts not exactly stopping but isn't eating much speed either.
Apprentice
Lord AlderaanThanks for the reply, but as I've posted above, for some reason unknown to me limiting the download to 1kB/s or about limits the upload speed also!
Thehound
A much more proper method is to set in the file list "do not download" for the priority of any file you don't yet wish to download. This option is shown by right clicking where the files are shown. It will then seed the files you do have at full speed. You can stop the torrent later and reverse those options to download the rest of it.
Apprentice
Thanks, Thehound. This seems to play the trick, even for a single file.
Lord Alderaan
I thought Do Not Download would stop the seeding too. Good to know it doesn't.
