my computer crashes upon utorrent launch

Hi,

it have happened several time in the past and now happened again. Upon launching of utorrent my PC crashed - reboot. This happened just after utorrent main windows appear and started downloading.

runing latest xp with patches and latest version of utorrent - downloaded today.

If I delete all files in application data/utorrent and launch again - it runs but lost all my settings. then copied just settings.dat back and crash again.

With a totally new Settings.dat there are no crashes? Then obviously it is a settings issue. Since with the old settings file uTorrent refuses to even run and there's no way you can even copy the old settings to study them, just reconfigure the program, reimport your torrents and continue working.

BTW, are there any crash logs? Maybe you can post those?
