Myros Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 Hey guys !Been having this weird lil' problem.. (both with 1.6.1 and 1.7.2)I start a download, a seeder would be uploading 20kB/s to me, rather helpful. However, soon enough, µTorrent kicks the seeder off. It's always the seeder who gives me higher than a 14 -18 kb/s upload. I don't think its the user's client that's kicking me off, since I'm a peer and he's a seeder, the user is SUPPOSED to upload !Ports forwarded, open TCP connections, and µTorrent is in the firewall's exceptions and all that jazz Any idea to why this happens exactly ? (tried more than 1 torrent so far) Is it something to do with the settings ?
Switeck Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 It could be your ISP's doings...they may be throttling or breaking connections that they detect BitTorrent traffic on.
Myros Posted August 5, 2007 Author Report Posted August 5, 2007 Oh, been having issues with my line.. I guess that explains it.Thanks for the reply, Switeck.
